Zac’s Place – A Veteran’s Accommodation and Support Centre

Zac’s Place is a six bedroom house used as a short / long term accommodation centre. The house was purchased through the VVAA QLD Branch and the Angus House Policy Committee. Zac’s Place can accommodate up to eight people, including family members, in an alcohol free environment.

The House Manager, who can relate to veteran’s problems, will ensure that you receive all possible assistance from every available source. Zac’s Place is a non-profit organisation and is open seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. It is situated close to major shopping centres, bus services, cinema, banks etc. and has a Veterans’ Counselling Service on site.
Who can use this service ?

The house is available to all Veterans and their families, current serving Defence Force members and their families, and other community charitable organisations.

Please note: All accommodation requests are subject to an interview with the House Manager and availability of beds.

Facilities

Guests have the use of all facilities and resources of the house including television, stereo, telephone (charges apply) and comfortable surroundings. All guests must be self sufficient with their medical problems as nursing facilities are not available on site.
