Subject: Australian area Ubon 1968
I am a veteran USAF Sgt. who was sent TDY to Ubon from Korat in December 1968 till February 1969 while the flight line was being repaired at Korat. We were billeted in the barracks that had been vacated by the Australian forces. These quarters were located on the base perimeter right next to the fencing.
It has been determined that Agent Orange was used on the perimeters of the Thailand bases and the US Veterans Administration makes us prove we were on the perimeter. I am looking for maps and pictures of the Aussie area at Ubon to help my appeal.
Can you help? What advice do you have? How could this help some of your vets?
Sincerely
KC Albright

I was a USAF weapon crew member in the 497TFS Ubon, Thialand during 1966-67. I have a VA claim that was denied–I need a vet to verify the duties we performed, ie preloading munitions on TERS and MERS at the 408 MM near the perimeter an arming aircraft at the end of the runway before to take off for missions over Vietnam. If you can help me around that time , please call me at: 919-374-9648—my name is Anthony J. Ciampa
